Внеурочная деятельность

Цели:

• предоставить учащимся возможность для реализации творческого потенциала и демонстрации достижений в изучении английского языка;
• выявить уровень сформированности коммуникативных умений и навыков.

Задачи:

1. Расширить знания учащихся об Америке и Англии.
2. Приобщить учащихся к культуре стран изучаемого языка.
3. Поддержать интерес к изучению английского языка.
4. Развивать память, наглядно-образное мышление, внимание.
5. Активизировать учебные умения и навыки школьников.

Оборудование: грамматический тест, жетоны, карточки с номерами от 1 до 10, картинки флагов, фото писателей, карточки с заданиями.

Предварительная подготовка:

1. Формируются списки участников конкурса. Участие в конкурсе добровольное.
2. Консультация с участниками конкурса по подготовке визитной карточки, содержанию предстоящей конкурсной программы.

Ход мероприятия

Teacher:

Good morning everybody! Welcome to our competition “Who is the cleverest in English?” Now you can see our jury: the teachers of foreign languages of our lyceum, students of our pedagogical college, English faculty.

Let’s start our game. For warming-up each participant tells us some words about yourself for 30 seconds. Who has the 1^st number?

Визитная карточка:

1. Фамилия, имя участника.
2. Класс.
3. Увлечения.
4. Что я думаю о значении английского языка в жизни.
5. Пожелания себе и соперникам.

Представление визитной карточки. Визитная карточка не оценивается, поскольку ставится цель познакомить участников друг с другом.

We are glad to meet you. Good luck to everybody!

Now it’s time to show us your knowledge in grammar. Let’s go to the computer room and do the test. You have only 15 minutes. Our jury will count every right answer. Only who has the most points (more right answers) has a chance to take part in the next stage of our competition.

Учащиеся переходят в компьютерный класс и выполняют тест. Каждый работает индивидуально. Программа сразу после окончания работы выдает результат.

Учащиеся, набравшие большее количество баллов, - половина участников – переходят во второй тур конкурса и продолжают соревноваться.

Жюри считает жетоны, полученные каждым участником за правильные ответы, подводит итоги данного тура. Учитель записывает фамилии участников и баллы на доске. По итогам в следующий тур проходят только два участника.

According to our results only two students are left and we’ll see who is the cleverest in English. The last part of our competition is to answer as many questions as you can one by one for 2 minutes. Let’s start.

Участникам предлагается ответить на вопросы за 2 минуты по очереди. Кто больше даст правильных ответов, тот и выиграл. Учитель читает вопросы. Жюри фиксирует правильные ответы.
